You can report your experience with that site to Google through the following link, so they can check it and label it.

Report sites

If Norton discovered the infection on your computer today, was it able to clean it?

If not, try multiple anti-virus / anti-malware /anti-adware type products. There are many good free products to choose from and no one will know in advance which ones might work for you.

I installed spybot and scanned. It found some tracking cookies,Trojan and removed. But it did not solve my problem. This time my machine got attacked from "apefovy.cn "
IPs : 195.168.1.126 and 195.95.151.174 from Firefox. This risk is of type “malicious Http Fake virus scan webpages”.When i click on any Google search result it id taking me to this url. I reported this to Google.
It seems like my machine heavily infected.

I scanned the system using Norton 360, it could not find the malware.Scan went thru without any problems. Its registry clean up failed.
I don’t know what to do to remove this problem.

Can you suggest any powerful anti Spyware, malware, adware tool that can remove this malware ? It does not have to be free. I can pay. My norton 360 is good with detecting virus but not with the malware/adware.

Please Help!!!

This is how I approach evaluating my daughters’ machines when they are having problems. If all else fails, the malware removal forums have excellent, individual help for customizing the clean-up process

As a next step, you might want to try:

MS Malicious Software Removal Tool

Malware removal forums often have you use various products in safe mode first, then repeat outside of safe mode
How to start Windows in Safe Mode

It should not be necessary for you to pay for a product to get to the bottom of this. It is a trial and error process to find the right product. All of the following have free, non-commercial use versions.

Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware

Spybot Search & Destroy

LavaSoft Ad-Aware

SuperAntiSpyware
